Mission

The mission of the Translation Group is to establish and/or improve channels of communications and relations amongst professional translators within the pharmaceutical industry through:

a) exchange of information between translators on the following topics:
- terminology
- documentation
- working methods
- human resources
- any subject pertinent to professional activities

b) formulation of recommendations in view of standardizing terminology particularly through a pharmaceutical publication

c) obtainment of information concerning standards which regulate information diffusion in the pharmaceutical industry and observance of such standards

d) promotion of high standards of quality in communications

e) provision of a consultative service to the parent body on linguistic related matters, if the need arises

f) observance of the professional and ethical standards applicable of RX&D
